Protesters from Occupy Wall Street marching through New York's financial district dressed as "corporate zombies" on Monday.
The protesters of Occupy Wall Street are getting creative when it comes to showing their disdain for corporate greed. Patrick Bruner, a spokesman for the group, today urged protesters to dress up like "corporate zombies" so financial workers "see us reflecting the metaphor of their actions."
As corporate America and the rest of the international markets brace for a possible default on the Greek government's debt, protesters are reeling from a tumultuous weekend after a march on the Brooklyn Bridge on Saturday resulted in the arrests of approximately 700 people.
Blockage to pedestrian and road traffic was cited as the main reason behind the arrests. Though, many protesters claimed police strategically trapped them to facilitate the mass crackdown.
The NYPD released footage yesterday to back up their position, which included video of an officer warning the crowds via a bullhorn and marchers chanting, "Take the bridge."
Similar protests have been held across the country in Boston, Los Angeles and Chicago.
The Occupy Wall Street movement entered into its third week.

2012 VOICES TAKE A STAND
Every time I get a letter from a so called lawmaker, it is really a request for a donation, incognito.
This is a fact that is quite alarming, because America’s Politicians have bottomless wells in the form of Big Monopolies and Special Interests. Most of the Big Monopolies, at least have corporate names; but the Special Interests, can be anything from a Millionaire’s Club to Foreign Countries. It doesn’t take a rocket scientist to understand that this is no way to run a country. Just think about it, as much money as corporations, special interests and special people funnel into campaigns, they still need money and constantly solicit money from the American people. Don’t the candidates and my fellow Americans see, there will never be enough, by special interests standards. This should tell us that money has created most of the problems with our lawmakers; not the lack of it, but too much of it. The way that money has perpetuated the radical race between candidates to raise the most, is a fabricated problem; much like the recent fabrication of a debt ceiling crisis. This is what our system has come to. The next question one wants to ask themselves is how many fabrications have there been over the years, and are the American People the last to become aware of the house of cards concocted to mask the way our entitlements have been operated. How much smoke and mirrors, have there been constructed, to lead us to believe that fiscal responsibility did exist in government. For several years, we and the candidates pretended that they needed ridiculous amounts of money to win elections, and the public perpetuated the illusion by allowing them to masquerade as lawmakers of the people. All these many years, we have been happy that corporations, millionaires, and foreign countries have picked up the tab for candidate’s campaigns. We have given our blessing to the whole process because it is only implied that our legislators work for their best interests, and not ours. Then we have the nerve to complain that they’re bought and paid for by special interests.
Half the people that I have approached about putting a law on the 2012 Ballot, for America to Beginning Funding campaigns, laugh at me and say that it is not possible. They may not think that it is so funny, if
It were realized that, not taking all of the special interest and foreign money out of our elections, will mean that we will keep on getting, into perpetuity, the stalemates and deadlocks that we have recently been getting from Lawmakers.
If you’re as tired of the charade as I am, Go to Care2.com, search: Un-tie Our Lawmakers’ Hands and sign the petition for a national law on the 2012 Ballot.

Let me start tonight,
Its NOW! When? NOW! The tea party has steered the nation's conversation with a good message that got distorted with time. If your a tea party supporter, STOP READING...YOUR NOT GOING TO LIKE THIS COMMENT! We are the United States of America! We are the first and only effective democracy in the world. We built some of the most powerful businesses and public systems man has every known! We need to stop this insanity that WE ALL TAKE OUR MONEY AND SAY GOOD LUCK TO EACH OTHER! That is not the United States! If that is a system you wish to live in, THE UNITED STATES IS NOT FOR YOU! We have seen businesses shift their focus to calling reduced liability expenses (taxes and labor costs) as PROFIT! STOP LISTENING TO THE FAUX LIES! STOP LISTENING TO RUSH AND THE REST!
When I heard about interest only payments for mortgages merely a few years ago, I knew this was a bad idea! Anybody with half a brain about finances saw this coming and NO ONE did anything about it. This lack of action is the creation of what is now Occupy Wall Street! There are others coming and the wave is growing! Unlike the tea baggers, no one is talking about lock and load! The movement is stand and be heard!
All you leftists freeloaders why DON'T SEND $ 2-3.00 to the OBUMMA compain so you supose to have diner with him. What a jok by a CLOWN from Kenya. Or do you think by taking to the streets by smelling freeloders OBUMMA will win you idiots. He must be real desperate and panic to ask VAN JONES and G. SOROS to help him by doing that.
Once again O'Donnell and Moore spread BS police propaganda on the show (Monday).
The police on the bridge WERE violent. Then they drove those arrested around on busses for up to Four hours with their hands painfully tied behind their backs before keeping them for hours at the jail. All violations of proper treatment. Next time bring on an attorney from the National Lawyers Guild instead of a comedian.
Worse they spread again the lie that the NYPD is one of the better police departments in the country. That is a laughable statement. Stop and frisk, record pay outs for misconduct, the treatment of protestors for many years now, the abusive treatment of people of color. Bring on an expert from the Center For Constitutional Rights next time.
When you spread these lies you enable future police misconduct and abuse.
