In an interview airing tonight at 10pm ET, MSNBC's Lawrence O'Donnell talks to Ginger White, the woman who claims to have had a 13-year sexual relationship with Herman Cain.
In this preview clip, White tells us about the conversation that she says officially ended their friendship. Tune in at 10pm ET to watch the full interview.

Lawrence
Who cares? No one cares about Hermin Cain anymore. It was cute to watch him make his sikky comments for a bit but he is not relavent anumore. Will you please move on next week? Further more you have the misfurtune of coming on last and most things you talk about have been beat to death... it would be real refreshing if you would pick differant topics threw the week and not just do curent events every night
I agree with bbn... why are you focusing on this unimportant story of Herman Cain's girl friend? Such gossip!! Who cares???
Why aren't you talking about the "indefinite detention" aspect of the National Defense Authorization Act of 2012 and why it is important that Obama veto it. I don't understand why it passed.
Why are you wasting time on this fake lady? It is obvious Mr. Cain did something she did not like and this is her revenge. Can you please refocus on IMPORTANT issues, this FAKE woman is not important.
i disagree.
while it is true that she put herself in this situation (sex with a married man), no matter how the story came to be told (i believe her explanation), herman cain should be exposed for who he really is.
I agree. Cain is in bed with Koch brothers as well as Ginger White.
The beauty of all of Herman Cains emerging scandals is that he self destructed ALL on his own
I commend Ginger Whites bravery, courage and Honesty for coming forward with the entire TRUTH. She comes across 100% credible.
Cain can go away now.....he is F I N I S H E D
test
This story IS important as it points directly at Mr. Cain's level of integrity and honesty.
He not only knows zilch about foreign policy or economics, but he is a creepy sex addict, if everything we have heard is the truth.
I applaude the courage of Ginger White! This could not have been easy for her - at several times in the interview I thought she might cry. I am appalled at some people here calling her ugly names.
Angie's comments show she clearly did NOT listen to the entire interview. Ginger came forward ONLY because her story had leaked to the local media. She did not want to harm anyone, least of all Mr. Cain and his family.
Please people - do not shove her under the bus as was done with Anita Hill.
Bravo Ginger! I'm cheering for you, and wish you the best life has to offer!
If only all of us could be so brave!
Lawrence,
Your exploitation of this "affair" is just that 'exploitation'. Coming from a supporter of many of the Kennedy's, President Clinton, among many others whose private "affairs" had no impact on your support for these political figure makes your rhetoric oozes with a low level politics. What possible significance does this "affair" have? Why does she feel compelled to make it public? Neither you nor I know what occurred. And you and I both know this lady has a less than stellar past in terms of her personal conduct and maturity. You lower the tone and quality of political discourse with "interviews" of this sort. And you do nothing but inflame those who already agree with you.
Ironically I make these remarks as some one who doesn't think Mr. Cain is up to the task of President. But I also know that the current resident in the White House was and is not up to the task. We dare not make that mistake again. I come to this conclusion with respect for the President's intelligence, qualities as a father and husband. Unlike you, I don't need to go to the gutter to argue my opinions.
You and those like you do great harm to civil discourse in this country.
What a bitch. Even if she is telling the truth.. why would you do that to some one if you cared about them. By her own account, he was a friend and helped her for 13 years, and how does she repay him.. she derails his campaign and messes with his family life. I never liked Cain.. but what she is doing is such a low slimy thing to do.. she said "i had to clear my conscious" that is such bull@!$%#!.. she had to make her self better by screwing him over.. I hope she reads this and knows that she is a disgusting human being and her "holier than thou" attitude is just a cover for her pathetic life that needed something more exciting. she is nothing more then an attention whore. Well maybe a real whore and an attention whore!
I agree. Lawrence O'Donnell has got a thing for Herman Cain. The interview with Cain made liberals across the country cringe, and the story the next day wasn't about how idiotic Cain is, it was about how LO tried too hard to "get him." Why is it important whether Cain marched during the civil rights era or not? Tonight's interview with Ginger White was just as uncomfortable. Some of the questions were inappropriate, not to mention irrelevant. Are there records of hotel stays? Did he ever tell her he loved her? Who gives a crap? I'm sure Lawrence has a staffer on that right now, calling hotels througout Atlanta. Tabloid television. This is MSNBC, not TLZ. Herman Cain is history, why spend so much time on the guy? Time to move on.
first of all i think that this story isn't really worth my thoughts but i'll just make a simple statement. this lady came out of her hole in the wall to have her 10 minutes of fame. Don't get me wrong i never took mr. cain for president serious for the time i heard him make idiotic point that didn't make a pinch of salt sense. well the only thing that i have to say is if her conscious was so strong in value she wouldn't be running around with a man leaving her child at home to sleep around with a man that she said without a blink of a eye. that they never said they were in love so she was just being a garden tool for money. so my last word is a quote from her "your running for president that big yeah are we still going to be friends NO." i guess i'll let the world no that i cheated with you on your wife for 13 years and get me some air time... me i pray that your conscious is true from now on and stay away from married man like me forever and never touch another woman's man until he puts a ring on your finger...
I bet Hermain will announce by Sunday that he's leaving the campaign. And his wife should announce she's leaving him!
To haytin's comments... WE have every right to know the conduct (or lack thereof) of every presidential candidate. I don't care how far a reporter has to dig to reveal the past. So far, we've only heard Mr. Cain's side of the story. How long did we hear, week after week from Mr Cain that there weren't any skeletons in his closet? How many times did he blatantly lie about this? A 13 year affair! And you think it's gutter politics? Gawd. I can't wait for the right to start to demonize her because of her - in your words - less than stellar past. We ALL have a less than stellar past! Women don't make this stuff up. Yep, that less than stellar past will undo a presidential candidate every time. Inflame?
I hope someone can pass this on to Ms White.
Dear Ms White,
My mother had a relationship similar in some ways to Ms White's and Mr. Cain's. This is NONE of our business and I'm very sorry that Ms White has been pulled into this hurtful, sad debacle. Because of Mr. Cain, it's become the nation's business and I want Ms White to know that there are many people 'out here' that are not judging her. I feel nothing but compassion for Ms White's 'outing' and hope you truly realize you've done nothing wrong. You have given credibility to the women that came before you that told of problems with Mr. Cain. This may or may not have happened to them but regardless, the demeaning way he dealt with these women told me enough to positively know he should not be president of our country.
You are a courageous woman, Ms White, and I hope your children see this attribute within you. I think my mother's choice had much to do with us, her children. Being a mother myself now I know I would do anything, ANYTHING, to make their lives safe and their future's bright. Life isn't always perfect and choices must be made. No one has the right to judge another's way traveling it.
Respectfully, Vicki, a working mom
Thx Vicki. You said it better then I could have. To read some of these comments want's to make me go throw up with their insensitivity and name calling. And in the same breath have the nerve to talk about the level of political discourse. Sad.
How did she do nothing wrong? She had a 13 year affair with a married man. On top of that she publicly came out about it possible derailing his campaign, on top of that she has undoubtedly cause much discourse in the Cain house hold. i am not saying Cain did nothing wrong.. but her outing has hurt an INNOCENT women.. Mrs Cain. she said she cared about him. Way to show it bitch! she said she does not wish any harm to Cains wife.. way to go bitch! Way to repay someone that helped support you and your kids for 13 years! Of course she did something wrong and terrible.. cause she is a terrible person! I don't even like Cains politics.. but i can see how she is only after attention.
For the record Jack.... When you're running for president, your WIFE deserves to know if you're having an affair or not. Especially a 13 yr affair! Ginger will NOT be the one that hurts Mrs. Cain. It will be Herman Cain, and Herman alone. I could care less about the details of their affair, who started it, etc, etc. Herman could have put an end to it before it even got started. But he didn't. Why? Because Herman, like many men, is weak and like putty in the company of a younger woman. And sex is always involved! It's not right (not the way I was taught), but it goes on. Every hour 40,000 people are having affairs.
What I loathe is the constant chest beating of the right, that goes on and on about how could a nice, christian man be involved in such behavior. That this is all a stunt by either the liberals, or another candidate to hurt Cain. Oh please. Cain, and the nation deserved this to come out. We're not living in the Jack Kennedy days any more! And sadly, the other partner, or spouse is always, always collateral damage - like it or not. Mrs. Cain was going to learn sooner or later! But don't pin that on Ginger. Pin it on Herman.
I am in no way shape or form defending his affair.. what he did was terrible.. but her coming out and making it public.. that is what i am saying.. she did it because she wanted top be in the spotlight plain and simple.. and as i have said,, she says he was a friend.. and he supported her for 13 years,, what a nice way to pay him back...
and for the record I care about people and this country So therefore I think all the republicans running are terrible people (Newt had two affairs while his wife was dieing and then went after Clinton for the same thing) . Of course I will support for Obama. I was only talking about White Part in it.
jack,
didn't anybody hear her explanation about why she told her story? she was getting phone calls from people who were going to make her story public, so she beat them to the punch.
stop calling this woman a bitch. in your post #12.2, you blame ginger for "possibly derailing his campaign". do you watch the news? his campaign was derailed weeks ago.
yes, ginger knew he was married, but cain is the one who should be concerned about his wife. should women stay away from married men? in a perfect world, yes, but if HER husband doesn't care enough about his wife to keep his penis in his pants, it is really HIS responsibility and not ginger's. we all know if it wouldn't have been ginger, it would have been someone else, and probably was.
you sound like someone who always blames the woman, which is typical for a man. poor herman cain, he is just doing what his penis is telling him to do. he really has no control over his appendage. don't women know it is always up to them to turn the man down, to be strong for them, and help them do the right thing, since they have a magic wand that doesn't let them think for themselves. just like sandusky who thought in his sick mind that these boys "wanted it", that is what men like herman cain think, too. "everybody wants me".
herman cain is a married man. he is the one to blame. it sounds to me like he is a predator of sorts, using his money and "power" to "get" women to do things that he wants.
unfortunately, some women are vulnerable to this kind of attention.
Thank you for putting all these people, who obviously didn't bother to listen to the interview before posting, straight on a few matters.
I want to be a Conservative Republican when I growing up. You should check out stories about Honorable Arnold S., former California Governor.
American women are like hurrican. When they comes, wild and wet, but leave nothing but destruction behind.
